For those looking for an easel, Mabef has a quality line of easels at good prices and excellent customer service. I ordered extra parts for my M/32 Giant Field Easel and had immediate and positive response. I appreciate the replacement palette, mine was getting pretty crusty. I have had the french easel for about 8 years now, and it has been a faithful companion on many adventures, and classes, as well as a help in the studio. It also works for watercolor, although I've mostly used it for oil painting. I have friends who have bought other brands and have have had problems with them breaking or not working smoothly setting up and taking down. One that even arrived from the retailer damaged. I have never experienced a problem... except for one... I was painting in a pasture when I noticed a large BULL was taking an interest, or offence, at my presence in his territory. I gathered up and folded up my stuff in such a hurry that the drawer did not latch. When I picked up the easel by the handel the drawer slid out spilling the contents, but I escaped with everything, and unharmed. Oh well It makes a good story, of course I never finished the painting. - Jim Lewis |

I am a proud owner of a few Mabef easels (studio and portable).
I enjoy the design and quality of the products, and would highly recommend them.
I recently had to get a replacement part for my portable easel. I was very impressed with the quality and speed of Mabef customer service. Within 4 working days of my initial email, I had the part in my hands in Canada.
The customer service at Mabef is at the same quality level as its products.
I am impressed! This type of service is much appreciated! |

Outstanding backpacker's easel. I have had mine for over 10 years and I still love it. Customer service is excellent. Twice I have had to replace a worn part (through natural wear). Both times I emailed my request and received the replacement within two days, free of charge. I am customer for life! Many thanks. |
